Activities, engagement, responsibilities :

• Assist in the selection of existing and/or new-/re-/design / development / (re-)programming and testing of such systems for our electric vehicles.
• Assist in the documentation of electric Motors specification, Motor Control Unit (MCU) architecture / hardware specifications and implementation into our electric vehicle(s).
• Assist in the documentation of the Motors(s) / Propulsion System architecture / hardware specifications and implementation into our electric vehicle(s).
• Participate in the design and implementation of adaptations on hardware & software algorithms for such systems functionalities and accessories.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and trends in the respective automotive systems to enhance product efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate components into our vehicle prototypes.
• Support troubleshooting and debugging efforts for software and hardware issues.
• Contribute to the optimization of systems & algorithms for improved energy efficiency and longevity.
• Participate in validation and verification activities for the respective automotive systems, including simulation, testing, and analysis.
• Assist in the development of diagnostic tools and dashboards for monitoring systems, parameters and performance.
• Engage in continuous learning and skill development training sessions, and hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies in electric vehicle systems, mentored and supported by the management and the team members.

Knowledge of software systems such as MATLAB, SOLIDWORKS, ANSYS, NX, etc. is a plus.

Previous experience in automotive-motor-technologies preferred.

Very good knowledge of English language is a must !

• Assist in the documentation of the functionality of elvoX’s VHM Platform, and its system specifications.
• Participate in the design and development of embedded software algorithms, APIs and cloud-based systems for vehicle diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and real-time health monitoring.
• Support the development of intuitive dashboards and visualizations for system status, fault alerts, and maintenance insights — developing APIs.
• Contribute to the integration, testing, data read-out, processing of data from sensors and ECUs related to vehicle condition monitoring.
• Contribute to the integration of safety measures, protocols, requirements, etc. related to the VHM.
• Assist in the implementation of diagnostic protocols (e.g., OBD-II), fault detection mechanisms, and data logging strategies into our electric vehicle(s).
• Research emerging technologies in connected vehicle diagnostics, OTA (Over-The-Air) monitoring, and AI-based fault prediction to enhance system intelligence and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Systems) to ensure full system integration and functional coherence.
• Support debugging and validation efforts, including simulation, fault injection testing, and real-world data analysis.
• Assist in the development of internal tools for testing, monitoring, and validating platform performance and resilience.
• Engage in continuous learning and training activities with the support and mentoring of the team and management.

Very good programming knowledge in C/C++, Python, front-end (dashboard) design.

Knowledge of cloud technologies, database systems.

Familiarity with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, embedded systems or telemetry/IoT systems.

Understanding of communication analysis tools (e.g., Vector CANoe, CANalyzer).

Security awareness in vehicle networks and data handling is a plus.

Experience in software development for automotive, automotive diagnostics or telematics platforms is considered a strong advantage.
